Welcome to Early Years.
Click Dear Parents,
I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Autumn break.
I can’t wait for the students to tell me which places they visited. I am sure they will be excited to draw a picture
of what they did.
This Friday November 10th, is Moroccan heritage day at ISM. Students may come to school in Moroccan dress or their school uniforms and parents are very welcome and invited to join their children for a special lunch.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Last week we read the book, Do You Want To BeMy Friend,
and the students made their own puppets. They chose which animal they wanted to be, they drew that animal and then they made their puppet. They were so excited to act it out with their classmates.
This week we will be learning the letter T and reading:
I Can’t Get My Turtle to Move. This story is about a lively group of animals demonstrating numbers one through ten--except for one lazy turtle that just won't move. After we read the story we will go into the garden and observe our turtle.
I wonder if he will move if we give him some lettuce leaves?
In math we will be reviewing shapes and counting one more and one less on our number chart.
Have a wonderful week.
