Dear ISM Parents and Students,
As we are beginning a new year in the ISM, I would like to welcome you and introduce myself.
My name is Ali Messaoudi, your child or children will be with me in their French class.
I’ ve been working as a French teacher in French primary schools since the beginning of the eighties. I became a “specialized” teacher in 2002 (cognitivist approach) to help children succeed as a learner in their own classes, especially when they learn to write, to read and to count.
From the French national education system, I got the opportunity to come to Morocco. I have been working ever since, for 8 years, in the AEFE Casablanca schools as a specialized teacher. I am now retired from the French system.
I have now 37 years of experience working with pupils although everything is always new in education with children.
I do have specific interests and appreciate teaching in a British system. It is much more possible to help and follow the continuous evolution of your children in a small classroom.
Speaking, reading, writing, and listening to French with different ways of expression will be the main focus in class. Adding knowledge in regard to the structure of the French language and culture is important but the aim is in how they use it, taking pleasure to learn and become reflective in French. I‘ll help them understand how they learn and how much more they can learn by collaborating with the others.
After a few weeks I’ll be happy to meet with you about how your child is progressing but if there is something you feel I should know about your child please contact me.
I leave you my e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
