I hope you all had wonderful holidays! The students enjoyed sharing about their travels and their ‘staycations’.
This Friday we will be singing a song at the morning assembly at 8:30. After the assembly, we will be heading to Rabat to visit the Maroc Telecom Museum. A permission form was sent home today. Please sign and return this form with the 100 dirham payment by Wednesday at the latest so that your child can attend this exciting trip.
This trip will support our learning in our unit How the World Works. We will be looking at how understanding sound has led to technological advances. This week we are also focusing on light. We are discussing sources of light, natural vs man-made light, and how shadows are made and changed.
In maths we are learning about measurement and time. We will learn about measuring length, weight and capacity. We are also learning about time. In writing we are writing about our holidays. We are working on adding interesting details, word choice and sentence fluency.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
