I am very proud of the students for their hard work on their MAP tests last week. They put in very good effort and tried their best. I will be discussing their results with them and setting goals for the rest of the term using their results.
This week we are celebrating Heritage week with many parent presentations and in-class activities. It should be a culturally rich week of learning. It will culminate this Friday morning at 8:30 with a “Parade of Nations” around our courtyard and a school-wide song performance. I hope you can all join us! Students are invited to wear their traditional national dress or other clothing that represents their heritage.
World Fest is on Saturday, 21 October. A volunteer sign-up sheet went home on Friday. We look forward to a fun-filled day of food, games and cultural exchanges. sd
